Thefts: Charges at Kohl's, Spare Tire Taken, Wallet Gone at Goodwill
The following information was supplied by Geneva and Batavia police departments. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
A spare tire taken from a Ford F20 because the tire was stored underneath the back of the vehicle. That and other thefts from Batavia and Geneva are here.
GENEVA
Spare Tire Taken From Company Vehicle
A victim told police at around 8:15 a.m. Jan. 6 that someone took a spare tire from a company vehicle, A Ford F20, parked in the 400 block of Stevens Street. The victim was unable to provide the time frame for the theft because the tire was stored underneath the back of the vehicle, reports said. The victim estimated the value of the tire at $250.

Charges Filed for Theft at Kohl's
Batavia police arrested Carmen G. Rosario, 38, of Aurora on charges of retail theft at Kohl’s, 251 N. Randall Road, according to a report at 3:29 p.m. Jan. 12. Rosario posted $150 bond and has a court date of Feb. 11. (00789)

Wallet Taken at Goodwill
A wallet was removed from a cart at Goodwill, 450 N. Randall Road, according to a report at 5:02 p.m. The category was theft under $500.
