Theft Reports: Someone Steals Chef Roby Parking Sign, $5,000 in AIr Compressors

Two unusual thefts are reported in December's blotter from the Geneva Police Department.

 

Theft reports in Geneva can range from the serious to the bizarre and often include a little of both. Such is the case with this recent collection from the Geneva Police Department.

Theft Under $500—Someone stole a parking sign from the parking lot spot reserved for the All Chocolate Kitchen in parking lot located in the 200 block of James Street sometime between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Dec. 12 The reserved parking stalls are on the southwest corner of the parking lot. One sign was removed from a metal post, which read “Chef Roby Parking Only.”

Theft Over $300—Someone took two “Gailbreath” PM6FS 400-volt air compressors from the Geneva Commons management office, 602 Commons Drive, sometime between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. Dec. 10, reports said. The air compressors had a replacement value of $5,000, reports said.
