Suspicious Vehicle Follows Student near GMS North

"Please speak to your children and encourage them not to interact with strangers and to report any suspicious activity to a trusted adult."

On Tuesday morning, the administration at Geneva Middle School North contacted the Geneva Police Department after a student reported that a van had followed the student to school.

Members of the Geneva Police Department responded to the school and canvassed the area for the vehicle, which is described as a light brown conversion van with a dark brown stripe down the middle.

"If you suspect you’ve seen this vehicle, please call 911," Geneva Middle School North officials asked parents via a Geneva Connects email blast.

"Please speak to your children and encourage them not to interact with strangers and to report any suspicious activity to a trusted adult.  Immediate police contact at 911 is appropriate in these situations," the e-blast said.
