St. Charles Man Arrested on DUI Child Endangerment Charges

A St. Charles man faces charges of endangering the lives of the children riding in his car by allegedly driving drunk and failing to properly put a child under 8 in the required child-safety seat.
Geneva police arrested Federico Telles, 30, of St. Charles on two counts of endangering the life of a child while driving under the influence of alcohol.
Police stopped Telles’s Chevrolet Cavalier in the 700 block of Western Avenue around 3:19 p.m. Monday, March 19. He is charged with DUI Alcohol, endangering the life of two children under the age of 18, no valid driver’s license and one count of driving a child under 8 without a child restraint system.

He has a court date of 8:30 a.m. April 11 at the Kane County Judicial Center, 37W777 Route 38, St. Charles.
