St. Charles Home Invasion Suspect Returns to Court

, 29, last of Chicago, and Bradley, 35, last of Glen Ellyn, each remain in Jail on $1.5 million bail in connection to the November 2010 home invasion and robbery on Adams Avenue.

The men are each scheduled to stand trial before Circuit Judge Timothy Sheldon on April 30, but prosecutors want to have the men tried at the same time because the evidence and witnesses presented will be identical in each man’s case, court records show.
Prosecutors allege the men broke into the Adams Avenue home with guns and tied up two men with electrical cords as part of a robbery in which their iPhones and case were taken. A third man living at the residence called police and jumped out of a window to escape the house.

Bradley and Aunner tried to flee, but police captured them almost immediately. One gun was found in the backyard, while a second gun was found inside a bag of charcoal behind the house, documents state. Both men were on parole at the time of their arrests—Aunner for aggravated battery and Bradley for drug charges.
