Someone Throws Rock Through Window, Breaks Mac

Criminal damage to property takes computer as casualty.

If you were writing a spy novel, or one of those Girl With the Dragon Tattoo books, you'd say, "Ah ha! This looks like standard vandalism or an angry act, but really what's going on is the iBook contained top secret, classified information that's going to lead to the capture of international terrorists or become the story of the century in Sweden.

Anyway, take away the overactive imagination, and you're still left with a nasty story—a smashed window, a chipped window and hardware in harm's way.

Criminal Damage to Property Over $300—Someone threw a rock through the passenger-side window of a Honda Accord parked in the lot of Country House, 2095 South Kirk Road, sometime between 8 p.m. 9:20 p.m. Nov. 14, reports said. The rock shattered the window and damaged an Apple i-Pad lying on the front passenger seat. The right rear passenger side window also was struck by a rock. That window did not shatter but sustained several glass chips. The total value of the damage was unknown at the time of the report.
