Someone Taking Advanced Disposal Garbage Containers in Geneva

Geneva police reports collected Oct. 1 include two lefts of Advanced Disposal cans.

Someone took a green Advanced Disposal garbage bin from a home in the 900 block of Stonewood Glen Drive sometime between 10 p.m. Sept. 26 and 1 p.m. Sept. 27, reports said.

The owner told police she left the garbage bin and recycling bin by the street for pickup and noticed that the recycling bin was still at the end of the driveway, but the garbage bin was not.

There were no distinguishing marks on the bin, which was valued at $30.

Someone took a 1-cubic-yard Advanced Disposal dumpster from the back of the Geneva Diner restaurant, 14 S. Second St., sometime between 5 p.m. Sept. 21 and 5 a.m. Sept. 22, reports said. The dumpster was valued at $500.

In early September, police reports included the theft of a 96-gallon container had an estimated value of $95 taken from a residence in the 0-100 block of School Street.
