Someone Takes 12-Foot Inflatable Snow Man
Last of the ho-ho-holiday mischief? Here's what we hope is the final installment of the season's Christmastime crime.
Each year, while Santa's elves are making toys for good little girls and boys, elves of a different sort take time to make the season a little less bright.
Here is what we hope is the last of the 2012 holiday season's Christmastime crime, from the files of the Geneva Police Department:
Theft Under $300—Someone stole a 12-foot inflatable snowman as it sat in the front yard of a home in the 700 block of Meadow Lane sometime between 10 p.m. Dec. 20 and 6 a.m. Dec. 21, reports said. The decoration was valued at $200. Fresh footprints in the snow led up to and away from where the snowman sat, reports said.
