Someone Steals a Fork Lift From Geneva Commons Parking Lot
Geneva Police Reports: A person or persons apparently gets away with a 2008 Mitzubishi fork lift near Jo-Ann Fabrics.

Someone took a 2008 Mitzubishi fork lift from the parking lot of a business in the 700 block of Commons Drive sometime between 1:30 p.m. June 5 and 2 p.m. June 7, reports said.
According to reports, police spoke by phone to a representative of a North Carolina company doing work at Jo-Ann Fabrics, 714 Commons Drive. The man told police that his company had rented equipment, including a fork lift, from an Aurora company and that someone had removed the fork lift sometime after the shift ended at 1:30 p.m. June 5.

A driver from the rental company went to pick up the fork lift at around 2 p.m. June 7 and reported it missing.
A manager said someone had come to pick up the fork lift and provided a piece of paper, but the manager and employee could not find the piece of paper when police asked to see it.

The fork lift is valued at $21,973.
