Someone Smashes Windows at Heartland Elementary School

Four big windows appeared to have been struck by a rock, Geneva police report.

Someone broke four windows at Heartland Elementary School, 3300 Heartland Drive, sometime between 11 p.m. May 7 and 6 a.m. May 8, Geneva Police Department reports said.

Three windows on the north side of the building, measuring 52 inches by 18 inches appeared to have been struck by a rock.

“There is a bed of rocks that borders the exterior wall of the school, consistent in size and shape to cause the damage,” reports said.

A 28-inch by 52-inch window in a door on the west side of the building also was broken. Cost to repair the windows was in excess of $300.
