Someone Paints Swastika on Sidewalk Near High School
Police reports: Cetron Building also hit by spray paint.
The remnants of these criminal defacement cases probably are long gone, in part because it took awhile for the reports to land in the Geneva police blotter, in part because it took too long for Patch to report. Maybe that's not such a bad thing—particularly when the markings include a Swastika.
Criminal Damage to Property—Someone spray painted four orange markings, one in the shape of a Swastika, on a sidewalk at the rear of a Geneva Community School District building at 1113 Peyton St. sometime between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Sept. 3, reports said. The damage was estimated at $200.
Criminal Defacement of Property—Someone spray painted the north side of the abandoned Cetron building, 715 Hamilton St., sometime prior to 6 p.m. Oct. 8, reports said. The officer called JCF Real Estate to advise of the damage and asked that the graffiti be removed as soon as possible.
