Someone shattered the glass front door of Me & Dad's Toys, 720 E. State St., around 12:54 a.m. Dec. 14, reports said.
When police arrived, the front door of the business was dead-bolted and the door handle was locked, but the opening in the broken window was large enough for a person to enter without opening the door, reports said.
During the search, police found a large rock next to a black toy bin. The rest of the business "appeared to be in order, except for some boxes on the floor," the report said.
The glass of the door was estimated to cost $500 to replace. The police report did not indicate whether any cash or merchandise was taken.
