Someone Breaks Car Window to Get to MacBook

Police reports: It just makes you wonder why someone would break a window to get to a computer. Makes me think of "The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo."

Someone broke the front passenger window of a Volkswagon Passat parked in the 1700 block of Millbrook Court and took a MacBook Air 13.3-inch laptop from the trunk, reports said.

The burglary took place sometime between 1:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Jan. 29.

The MacBook was valued at $899 and the Volkswagon window at $350.
