Someone Damages Door Handles of Sho-Deen Offices

Geneva police reports included two criminal-damage-to-property items prior to the Christmas holiday.
Millcreek Construction Door Handle Mangled
Someone damaged the aluminum door handle of Millcreek Construction Company, 17 N. First St., sometime between 7 p.m. Dec. 19 and 7:30 a.m. Dec. 20, reports said. The door handle is on the north side of the building, leading to the lower offices, “and it appears to be done by somebody pulling on the handle attempting to open the door,” reports said. Cost to repair the damage was estimated at $150.

No Other Vehicles Keyed on Third Street
Someone “keyed” the passenger front and rear door of a Honda Civic parked in the street in front of 113 S. Third St., sometime between 12:45 p.m. and 1:25 p.m. Dec. 21, reports said. The victim said she had no idea who might have done the damage. No other vehicles in the area had been keyed, reports said. The cost to repair the damage was estimated at $500.
