Severe Thunderstorm Warning in Place Until 2:45 p.m. Wednesday

The National Weather Service-Chicago has issued a severe Thunderstorm Warning in effect for Kane County until 2:45 p.m. Wednesday.

The line of severe storms was located 7 miles south of Clinton and is heading east at 50 mph. Quarter-size hail and 60 mph winds are expected, along with damage to vehices and crops, roofs, siding and trees.
