Gusty Winds Coming Around 10:10 PM Wednesday, Then Likely Thunderstorms

NWS-Chicago hasn't posted yet, but a Severe Thunderstorm Warning request was sent at 9:10 p.m.

1o:10 p.m. Wednesday

The National Weather Service-Chicago website hasn't posted a Severe Thunderstorm Warning yet, but I just got a text bulletin from the NWS saying there's an immediate request for one for Northern Illinois.

Radar shows there's a storm a-comin', pardner. Whether the weather stays north or not, I'm not qualified to say, but as you can see from the map, we'll get some if it keeps moving due east.

Here's what the NWS says at 10:10 p.m.

"BRIEF BUT GUSTY WINDS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE AREA THIS EVENING AHEAD OF A THUNDERSTORM COMPLEX. AN OUTFLOW BOUNDARY THAT STRETCHES FROM HIGHLAND PARK ... TO DUPAGE AND WEST TO DEKALB ...

"CONTINUES TO MARCH SOUTHEAST AT 40 MPH. WINDS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS OUTFLOW WILL EASILY TOSS AROUND ANY UNSECURED LAWN FURNATURE OR OUTDOOR OBJECTS.

"THE OUTFLOW WILL MOVE THROUGH WESTMONT...WESTERN SPRINGS...WESTCHESTER AND SUGAR GROVE AROUND 1010 PM. THEN CHICAGO...LITTLE ROCK...WOODRIDGE AND WILLOW SPRINGS AROUND 1020 PM...AND YORKVILLE AND WORTH AROUND 1030 PM."
