Scrooge Redux: Tires Sliced as Well as Holiday Lights

Police reports: Whoever cut the holiday lights also might have sliced some Lexus tires.

On the same night that the sliced the cords of some holiday lights of a house on Fargo Boulevard, someone sliced some tires on a car parked a few blocks away.

Geneva police report that someone punctured the rear-side tire of a Lexus 400 parked in a driveway of the 1700 block of Fargo Boulevard sometime between 8 p.m. Nov. 25 and noon Nov. 26, reports said.

The owner discovered that the flat tire likely was an act of vandalizism after he took the tire to the shop, where an employee showed him that slits had been cut in the tire’s sidewalls.
