Ring Bought on eBay Disappears on Delivery Just Before Christmas

The victim purchases the $510 ring prior to Dec. 20. When she looks for the package on her porch on Dec. 21, it is not there.

A Geneva resident who lives on Tanager Lane told police that someone apparently took a white gold ring she had purchased on eBay for $510 after it was reportedly placed on her front porch by United Parcel Service.

According to the report narrative, she purchased the ring prior to Dec. 20. When she looked for the package on her porch on Dec. 21, it was not there. 

She had been provided with a tracking number, which stated the ring had been left on the front porch of her residence on Dec. 20.
