Residential Burglary on Eldorado Drive—Another Golf Club Gone
Another astonishing golf-club-related incident from Geneva police reports.
We recall a recent police report——in which 11 golf clubs were taken from the attached garage of a home on Fargo Boulevard.
Now comes the news of another garage break-in, in which the burglar took, among other things, a 4-wood.
When we saw the following report, we couldn't help but think that maybe it was the same burglar. Sure enough, a review of that August story indicates that the burglar (not thief, as the headline indicated) took two 3-woods and a hybrid—but no 4-wood!

Someone took a TaylorMade 4-wood from a garage and an iPod and Ray Beam sunglasses from a Chevrolet Impala parked in the garage in the 1800 block of Eldorado Drive sometime between 10 p.m. Sept. 3 and 6 a.m. Sept. 4, reports said.
The owner told police he was unsure whether the garage door had been left open overnight.
A second vehicle in the garage, a Mercedes, had an ashtray open but nothing was missing from the vehicle. A door of a third vehicle, a Buick Enclave, was left open, but nothing was found missing, reports said.
The total value of the missing items was estimated at $550.
