Reckless Driving Among 5 Geneva DUI Reports

The following information was supplied by the Geneva Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Reckless driving and driving under the influence of drugs were among the charges in five DUI-related incidents reported by Geneva police. The traffic stops took place from Sept 26 to Oct. 6, 2013.


DUI Drugs

Geneva police arrested Anthony Boettcher, 19, of Aurora on charges of driving under the influence of drugs and unsafe equipment around 9:46 p.m. Sept. 30 in the 1400 block of East State Street, reports said. He has a court date of Nov. 20 at the Kane County Judicial Center.

'Wrong Side of the Road'

Geneva police arrested William Roman, 58, of Geneva on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol content of .08 or more and illegal lane use, driving on the wrong side of the road around 10:01 p.m. Sept. 27 in the 0-99 block of Kansas Street, reports said. He has a court date of Oct. 16 at the Kane County Judicial Center.

Sandwich Man Charged With Reckless Driving

Geneva police arrested Adam Greenwell, 25, of Sandwich on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol content of .08 or more, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, leaving the scene of a vehicle damage, reckless driving and improper backing around 12:53 a.m. Sept. 29 in the 1800 block of Kaneville Road, reports said. He has a court date of Nov. 6 at the Kane County Judicial Center.

 

Maple Park Man Charged

Geneva police arrested Bruce Sparacio, 48, of Maple Park on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol around 3:21 a.m. Oct. 6 in the 300 block of South Randall Road, reports said. He has a court date of Nov. 20 at the Kane County Judicial Center.

 

Batavia Man Charged

Geneva police arrested Kellie Kaminski, 27, of Batavia on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood alcohol content of .08 or more and illegal transportation of alcohol around 4:06 a.m. Sept. 29 in the 500 block of Richards Street, reports said. She has a court date of Oct. 16 at the Kane County Judicial Center.
