Pranksters Hit Our House

Last week, GHS grad signs, lawn furniture and various detritus was found in a a neighbor's front yard. This week, the constructions signs were on ours.

Hello, neighbors!

If you're missing a GHS yard sign, stop on by the Nagels' house and pick yours up.

Because of the roadwork being done on Locust, Sixth and High streets across East Side Drive, there were plenty of good-sized portable, flamboyant construction-themed yard decorations to choose from. My good neighbor Bob Kaspar and I moved the construction signs back to their original spots this morning, as best we could. Other good neighbors found their stuff on our lawn—legitimate yard decorations, mostly—and took it back home.

I wasn't happy that our "guard dog" AJ failed to warn us about the scoundrels, but I was informed by my lovely wife that she did hear growling and barking during the night. She probably figured our half was barking at a squirrel or fox, which he does a lot. I slept through it entirely.

I can say for sure the prank took place sometime after I went to bed, maybe 11:30 p.m. Sunday, and when I walked AJ, around 6:45 a.m. Monday.
