UPDATE: Power Restored on Geneva's Southwest Side After 9 PM Tuesday
The power outages are due to "loss of ComEd power to substations," city says. City reports at 9:30 p.m. that power is restored after going out around 7:25 p.m. Tuesday.
Genevans reported power outages in Allendale, Eagle Brook and south of the railroad tracks near the Geneva train station Tuesday night.
At around 8:55 p.m. TriCom reports indicated personnel were being sent to "Western Avenue and the railroad tracks."
The city's Twitter account posted this update at about 8:35 p.m.:

"SW side power outages, due to loss of ComEd power to substations. Crews are working on the problem. No estimate of restoration at this time."

Geneva Patch commenters said power was restored in Allendale and the Peck Farm area shortly after 9 p.m. "Contacted the Geneva Police and they indicated 2 transformers had blown," Patch commenter G.Ryan said.
At around 9:30 p.m., the city Tweeted: "Electric has been restored. During power outages and other critical incidents, call 630-232-INFO for up to date details."
