Police Take Into Custody Man Wanted for Forgery

Man identified as Daniel King of Sycamore is transferred to DeKalb County, where he faces forgery charges.

Geneva police took into custody Daniel King, 26, of Sycamore, who had an active warrant for forgery charges issued by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department.

King was taken to the Geneva Police Department, was unable to post $2,000 bond (10 percent of $20,000) and subsequently transferred into the custody of a DeKalb County deputy. King was transported King to Meredith Road and State Route 38 in Maple Park, reports said.

Police recognized King and confirmed his identification through Tri-Com at around 3:58 p.m. March 26, when King was seen walking in the 400 block of North First Street, reports said.
