Police Reports: Two Arrested for Credit Card Fraud at Coach Store on Randall Road

Geneva police arrested Michelle Ayala, 37, of Plano and Martiza Fontanez, 38, of Chicago, on charges of credit card fraud unlawful purchase of goods at the Coach Store, 306 Commons Drive, around 5:22 p.m. Aug. 5, reports said.
Police were called to the Coach Store, and while en route, learned the two women had left in a vehicle traveling south on Randall Road from the Geneva Commons.
Police stopped the vehicle at Mill Street, west of Randall Road in Batavia, and Coach employees identified the passengers as the women who had used an American Express credit card belonging to an unnamed victim.

Reports said the credit card had been reported as stolen “a short time prior to the fraudulent transaction.”
The credit card purchase totaled $1,836.10.
