Police Reports: Stolen Laptop, Underage Drinking, $600 Bike Stolen

Geneva police reports include a missing $1,600 Dell, a $250 fine for underage drinking and a stolen $600 Sirrus Hybrid.

The miscellany of Geneva crime included the following three items, collected at the .

Vehicle Burglary—Someone took a Dell laptop computer from a Volkswagen Tiguan parked in the 0-99 block of North Third Street sometime between 11 a.m. and noon June 19, Geneva police reports said. The laptop was valued at $1,600. The victim said she went into Starbucks for a cup of coffee, and the laptop was gone when she came back to her car after about an hour. 

Liquor Act Violation—Geneva police cited Ryan Barnard, 19, of Geneva for consumption of alcohol by a minor around 2 p.m. July 6 in the 1800 block of South Randall Road, Geneva police reports said. The fine is $250 if paid by its due date.

Theft Over $500—Someone took a bicycle and cable-type lock sometime between 7 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. June 25 while it was secured to a bike rack on the north side of the railroad tracks at the Geneva train depot, 328 Crescent Place, Geneva police reports said. The Sirrus Hybrid bicycle is valued at $600.
