Police Reports: Stiffed Cab Fare Leads to Marijuana Charges

From the blotter: A Geneva man is arrested for cannabis possession and obstructing a police officer, plus theft for not paying a cab driver.

Police arrested Kendal Rusin, 21, of Geneva on charges of cannabis possession (less than 2.5 grams), interference with officers and theft under $500 around 3:03 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, at the Citgo service station, 206 East State St.

Police report details are sketchy, but it appears Rusin stiffed his cab driver $30.80 and subsequently was charged for cannabis possession and obstructing authority / interference with police officers.
