Police Reports Show Miscellaneous Mischief, from BB Gun Damage to Disorderly Conduct in Downtown Geneva

The following information was supplied by the Geneva Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Here are some various and sundry items from the Geneva police blotter, from some apparent BB gun damage to disorderly conduct.

Criminal Damage to Property, Over $300—Someone shot the windshield of a Ford F-350 parked in the driveway of a home in the 1500 block of Ford Street sometime between 6 p.m. July 3 and 8 a.m. July 4, reports said. Police said the windshield of the pickup truck was damaged by a projectile, probably from a BB gun. The cost to repair the windshield is estimated at $500.

Disorderly Conduct—Police issued a complaint and notice to appear to Daniel Geiger, 23, of Geneva and David Erikson, 23, of Geneva for disorderly conduct around 5:10 a.m. June 26 at 721 Western Ave. Each will be required to pay a $50 fine prior to due date.

Disorderly Conduct—Taylor Maine, 18, of St. Charles was issued a complaint and notice to appear for disorderly conduct around 7:49 p.m. June 30 at 428 Hamilton St., reports said. No narrative was provided in Geneva police reports. Disorderly conduct carries a $50 penalty if paid before the due date.
