Police Reports: Prescription Drugs Taken from Car, Coors Light Taken From Garage

There is always someone looking to take stuff from an open garage or an unlocked car, it seems.

The lessons to be learned from these reports, perhaps, are that there is a lot of criminal interest in prescription medications these days, and you should always keep your beer and meds in places where intruders can't reach them.

Burglary—Someone took a 24-count bottle of Norco and a 48-count bottle of Soma, both prescribed medications, from a vehicle parked in a driveway in the 700 block of Illinois Street sometime between 10 p.m. April 22 and 6:03 a.m. April 23, reports said. The owner of the car said he had filled the prescription earlier that day.

Residential Burglary—Someone took 24 cans of Coors Light beer from the garage of a home in the 300 block of Olson Court sometime between 10 p.m. April 22 and 6:15 a.m. April 23, reports said.
