Police Reports: Oct. 20 Domestic Battery on Rockefeller Drive

Geneva police arrested Gene Grant, 49, of Geneva on charges of domestic battery, bodily harm to a family member following an incident at 11:15 p.m. Oct. 20 at a residence in the 2200 block of Rockefeller Drive, reports said.
Grant became involved in a verbal argument with the victim, then threw a video tape, striking her in the face, reports said. The victim kicked Grant “in a defensive manner, and the defendant pulled the victim to the floor by her hair and struck her in the nose with a closed fist, causing her nose to bleed,” reports said.
The victim was taken to Delnor Hospital.
