Police Reports: Moved Motorcycle a Bit of a Mystery

Handlebars are damaged after someone moves motorcycle a block away.

Someone damaged the handlebars of a Suzuki motorcycle sometime between noon and 9 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25.

Police responded to the report of criminal damage to property in a Pepper Valley parking lot. When they arrived, they found the owner standing next to a red Suzuki lying on its side with damage to the handlebars.

The owner said he left the motorcycle in front of his apartment in the 2200 block of Pepper Valley Drive around noon. The owner told police that an unknown person(s) had moved the motorcycle from its usual parking spot and left it a block away. The owner said he was gone for most of the day, and when he went for a walk at around 9 p.m., he found the motorcycle in the 2100 block of Pepper Valley Drive.
