Police Reports: Intoxication and Under-Age Drinking Part of the Summer Experience for Officers of the Law

The following information was supplied by the Geneva Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A couple of minor incidents related to alcohol consumption were reported in this week's Geneva police blotter.

Public Intoxication—Geneva police issued a complaint and notice to appear to Ronald Zacher, 41, of Geneva for public intoxication. The violation carries a $50 fine if paid before the due date. The incident happened in an apartment common area around 10:37 p.m. July 22, reports said.

Consumption by a Minor—Geneva police arrested Brian Klaczek, 20, of St. Charles on charges of illegal consumption of alcohol around 4:55 a.m. July 25 at a home in the 700 block of Lancaster Lane, reports said. Klaczek has a court date of Sept. 6 in Kane County Branch Court, 530 S. Randall Road, St. Charles.
