Police Reports: Here's a Roundup of Collisions in Geneva

Traffic reports: Fender benders and collisions are part of life. They're also a part of the Geneva police blotter. Here are some collected this past week.

Here is a roundup of the collisions in the Geneva police reports this past week.

Accident on West State Street—A Nissan Altima driven by Robert Mailhot, 72, of St. Charles collided with an Audi Q7 driven by William Doeckel, 52, of Geneva around 7:12 a.m. May 4 at the intersection of West State and Second Street, reports said. More than $1,500 damage was done to any one vehicle. Mailhot was issued a warning ticket for failure to yield turning left.

Accident at Geneva Commons Parking Area—The rear of a Honda Civic driven by Nicole Esslinger, 21, of Geneva collided with the rear of a Mercedes-Benz GL450 driven by Jennifer Stonebreaker, 39, of St. Charles around 2:34 p.m. April 26 in the parking area of Geneva Commons, 600 N. Randall Road, reports said. More than $1,500 damage was done to any one vehicle, reports said.

Accident on East State Street—A Honda CR-V driven by Paul Bruckner, 50, of DeKalb collided with a Honda CR-V driven by Janet Roman, 44, of Geneva around 5:13 p.m April 27 in the 1200 block of East State Street about 50 feet east of Glengarry Drive, reports said. Less than $500 damage was done to either vehicle.

Accident on East State Street—The rear of a Dodge Caravan driven by Brittany Ebel, 21, of Montgomery collided with the front of a Jeep Wrangler driven by Jacob Hendrix, 26, of Geneva around 12:45 p.m. in the 200 block of East State Street about 50 feet west of Garfield Street, reports said. More than $1,500 damage was done to any one vehicle, reports said. Ebel was issued a warning for failure to yield turning left.
