Police Reports: Geneva Man Arrested on 2 Charges of Domestic Battery

The following information was supplied by the Geneva Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Geneva police arrested Alexander Schenk, 25, of Geneva on charges of domestic battery bodily harm to a family member and domestic battery insulting/provoking contact after an incident around 12:25 a.m. Sept. 2 in an apartment in the 2100 block of Pepper Valley Drive, reports said.

According to the synopsis sheet, Geneva police reported to the apartment in reference to a domestic battery. Upon arrival, police spoke to the victim, who said Schenk had returned from a local bar, and the couple began arguing.

“During the course of the argument, Alexander grabbed her by the arms and began slamming her against a wall, causing a laceration to the top of her left head,” reports said. Police saw blood in the victim’s hair and called an ambulance. The victim also had a bruise on her right forearm, which she said was caused when she was slammed into the wall.
