Police Reports: DeKalb Woman, North Aurora Man Arrested for Major Traffic DUI in Geneva

The following information was supplied by the Geneva Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Two separate incidents of major traffic driving-under-the-influence arrests were made by on consecutive Fridays.

Here are the reports from the Geneva blotter.

Major Traffic DUI—Geneva police arrested Paige Helregel, 24, of DeKalb on charges of DUI, DUI with a blood-alcohol content of more than .08 and unsafe lane change around 2:12 a.m. Nov. 4, reports said.  She has a court date of 9 a.m. Dec. 7 at the Kane County Judicial Center, 37W777 Route 38, St. Charles.

Major Traffic DUI—Geneva police arrested Craig Wonsowski, 27, of North Aurora on charges of DUI alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol content of more than .08 and speeding around 1:46 a.m. Nov. 11 in the 1400 block of South Randall Road. Wonsowski was cited for going 70 mph in a 45 mph speed zone. He has a court date of 9 a.m. Dec. 7 at the Kane County Judicial Center, 37W777 Route 38, St. Charles.
