Police Reports: Consumption of Alcohol on School Grounds; DUI Arrest

The following information was supplied by the Geneva Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Geneva police reports included two alcohol-related arrests, including the consumption of alcohol on school property and one DUI.

Underage Drinking—Geneva police arrested Michael Newingham, 18, of Geneva on charges of underage consumption of alcohol around 8:16 p.m. Sept. 14 on school grounds. The report does not name the school where the arrest was made. Newingham has a court date of Oct. 2 at the Kane County Branch Court, 530 S. Randall Road.

DUI—Geneva police arrested Ezequiel Adame, 41, of Dundee on charges of DUI alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol content of more than .08 and illegal transportation of alcohol following a traffic stop around 12:27 a.m. Sept. 23 in the 200 block of East State Street, report said.  Adame also was issued warning notices for driving without a safety belt and failure to signal when required. Adame has a court date of Oct. 17 at the Kane County Judicial Center, 37W777 Route 38, St. Charles.
