Police Reports: Cars Towed from Sept. 13 Accident at Fabyan and Route 25

The following information was supplied by the Geneva Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Here's an unusually short list of traffic items collected last week from the Geneva police reports. 

Accident on Private Property on East State Street—The front of a Toyota Solara driven by Desiree Lopez, 27, of Geneva collided with the rear of a Chevrolet Colorado driven by Diare Zieche, 50, of St. Charles around 7:04 a.m. Sept. 13 on private property in the 1100 block of East State Street about 50 feet west of Glengarry Drive, reports said. Damages was less than $500 to any one vehicle.

Accident at East Fabyan Parkway and State Route 25 (Crissey Avenue)—The front of a Chevrolet HHR driven by Shiela Scott, 50, of Villa Park collided with the front of a Hyundai Elantra driven by Jodi Carlson, 41, of Batavia around 6:12 p.m. Sept. 9 at the intersection of East Fabyan Parkway and State Route 25 (Crissey Avenue), reports said. More than $1,500 damage was done to any one vehicle. Both drivers said they had no injuries, but a tow was required. Scott was issued a citation for failure to yield the right-of-way while making a left-hand turn.
