Police Reports: Accidents and Fender-Benders All Around the Town

The following information was supplied by the Geneva Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Here's a roundup of accidents and fender-benders in Geneva.

Accident on Williamsburg Avenue—A Pontiac Grad Prix driven by Anea Klingenberg, 20, of Cortland collided with the rear of a Lexus ES350 driven by Martha Brown, 48, of Geneva at the intersection of Commons Drive and Williamsburg Avenue around 4:06 p.m. Nov. 10, report said. Less than $500 damage was done to any one vehicle.

Accident at Fargo and Merchants Drive—The front of a Honda Pilot driven by Teresa Change, 43, of Geneva collided with a Saab Aero driven by Maria Michalarias, 39, of Palos Hills around 11:13 a.m. Nov. 8 at Fargo Boulevard and Merchants Drive, reports said. More than $1,500 damage was done to any one vehicle.

Accident on Kaneville and Randall—The front of a Honda Civic driven by Darol Deross, 67, of St. Charles collided with the rear of a Chevrolet Traverse driven by Sandra Wolf, 39, of Geneva around 3:35 p.m. Nov. 8 at the intersection of Kaneville Road and South Randall Road. More than $1,500 damage was done to any one vehicle. Deross was issued a warning ticket for following too closely.

Accident at Stevens and Second Street—The driver’s side of a Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Linda Petrosa, 62, of Geneva collided with the front of a Chevrolet Blazer driven by Kathleen Huber, 51, of Geneva around 10:45 a.m. Nov. 4 at the intersection of Stevens and Second streets in Geneva. More than $1,500 damage was done to any one vehicle. Petrosa was issued a warning ticket for failure to yield for a stop sign.

Accident at River Lane—The front of a Volkswagen Golf driven by Brian Kroll, 49, of Geneva collided with the rear of a Pontiac G6 driven by Steven Suess, 61, of Belleville around 3:36 p.m. Nov. 4 in the 100 block of West State Street near River Lane, reports said. More than $1,500 damage was done to any one vehicle. Kroll was ticketed for driving too fast for conditions.

Accident on Route 38—The front of a Honda Accord driven by Trevor Clark, 20, of Geneva collided with the rear of a Jeep Laredo driven by Yadira Villegas, 36, of DeKalb around 3:08 p.m. Nov. 6 in the 2100 block of West State Street near Bricher Road, reports said. Between $501 and $1,500 damage was done to any one vehicle. 

Accident on Illinois Street—The rear of a Toyota Sienna driven by Bromleigh McCleneghan, 32, of Geneva collided with a New Holland LS170 driven by Kirk Nelson, 43, of Hillside around 9 a.m. Nov. 1 n the 600 block of Illinois Street near Union Street, reports said. Less than $500 damage was done to the Toyota and no damage was reported to the New Holland.

Accident on South Randall Road—The front of a Ford Thunderbird drive by Lauris Galley, 66, of Geneva collided with the rear of a Ford Edge driven by Amanda Rusher, 29, of Yorkville around 5:04 p.m. Nov. 8 in the 1600 block of South Randall Road near Gleneagle Drive, reports said. Between $501 and $1,500 damage was done to any one vehicle.
