Police Report Domestic Battery on High Street

Police reports: Victim was struck in the mouth; man dented a refigerator door and broke several pieces of hardwood laminate floor.

Police arrested James Martin, 21, of Geneva on two charges of domestic battery—bodily harm to a family member" and "insulting/provoking contact"— both misdemeanors.

The incident around 1:50 a.m. Feb. 10 in the kitchen of a residence in the 500 block of High Street.

Reports said the victim was punched in the mouth and suffered lacerations on the bottom lip.
