Police Report 3-Vehicle Collision on Randall Road

Three-Vehicle Collision—Three vehicles collided in the 300 block of South Randall Road around 2:39 p.m. Nov. 19, police said.

A Toyota RAV4 driven by Jullisa Quinones of South Elgin was stopped in the inside northbound lane when its back end was struck by the front of a Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Patrick Collins of St. Charles.

Collins told police he was slowing for traffic when his Grand Cherokee was struck in the back by a Nissan Altima driven by Michael Glass of Geneva. Glass told police he looked down for a moment and when he looked up, traffic in front of him had stopped. He told police he attempted to brake but collided with the Altima. Damage to any one vehicle was estimated at more than $1,500.
