Police Make Arrest for Telephone Harassment

The following information was supplied by the Geneva Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Geneva police arrested Crystal Maranville, 39, of Geneva on charges of harassment by telephone and harassment through electronic communications.

The complaint says Maranville “made 20 telephone calls to the cellular telephone of the victim in Geneva between 10:36 p.m. May 31 and 1:06 a.m. June 1, with the intent to harass.”

Maranville also transmitted 10 text messages between 12:02 and 7:30 a.m. June 1.

Maranville has a court date of July 12 at the Kane County Branch Court.
