Personal 'Kids At Play' Sign Defaced, Car Scratched

Police reports: Here are two items of vandalism or defacing property in the Geneva police files this week

Criminal Defacement of Property—Someone wrote "keep this off the street" in black marker on a yellow plastic "Slow, kids at play" warning sign between 6 p.m. Sunday and 6:30 a.m. Monday, reports said. The sign was valued at $10.

Vehicle vandalism—Someone scratched and dented the driver's side and trunk of a Chrysler 300 Touring truck parked in the 100 block of South Sixth Street sometime between 6:30 p.m. Sept. 25 and 2:30 p.m. Monday, reports said. About $1,000 damage was done, according to reports, including dents and scratches to the entire left side, molding removed from the driver's side rear door and dents to the trunk.
