Peace of Yoga Class Shattered By Car Burglar's $3,900 Smash-and-Grab
Three people leave a nighttime yoga class to find their car windows smashed and their purses taken—for a whopping $3,900 loss in damage or stolen property.
Three people just finished with a nighttime yoga class had their inner peace shattered by a smash-and-grab car burglar.
The driver's-side windows of three vehicles parked in the 300 block of Stevens Street were broken and purses were taken from each vehicle—an estimated loss of more than $3,900 in damage and stolen property.
The burglaries took place sometime between 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. March 20, Geneva police reports said.

The burglar or burglars struck a black Infinity JX35, a Cadillac and a Toyota Highlander. The estimated costs to repair damage and replace stolen items were $900 from the Infinity, $708 from the Cadillac and $2,305 from the Highlander.
All three victims had been attending a yoga session at Prana Yoga, 321 Stevens St., and discovered the damage and theft when they left the yoga session.
