Obscene Notes Written on Bike Path Bulletin Board, State Street Bridge
Police reports: A vandal or vandals write an obscene remark and phone number in black marker at two locations near the river.
Someone vandalized the bulletin board along the bike path on the east side of the Fox River west of the city’s sewage treatment plant, 602 Crissey Ave., sometime prior to Saturday, Feb. 18, Geneva police reports said. The vandal wrote a name and an obscene remark in black marker.
The incident appears related to another vandalism report, in which similar writing and phone number were written on the west wall of the State Street bridge at 1 E. State St., reports said.
