Oak Park Man Gives False Name to Geneva Police, Found Wanted in DeKalb
Police reports: Geneva police discover Oak Park man had warrants for his arrest in DeKalb County after he tries to give them a false name and address.
Geneva police arrested Antonio Nettles, 39, of Oak Park on charges of operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving with a suspended or revoked license, obstructing identification and failing to obey a traffic control device after a traffic stop in the 500 block of West State Street around 6:28 a.m. May 21, reports said.
The complaint says Nettles “intentionally provided … a false name and false date of birth” to a police officer after being stopped for the traffic violation.
Nettles was also arrested for failure to appear in court in DeKalb County for driving with a revoked license under the name of Antwon Sumerall, according to documents. Geneva police transported Nettles to DeKalb.
