No A.M. Flooding to Speak Of, But Frog Liked Morning Rainstorm

There was a scanner report of street flooding on Fabyan Parkway on Wednesday morning, but sun is out by noon. More storms coming in the afternoon.

A quick tour of Geneva and St. Charles this morning showed no indication of street flooding—at least not the usual suspects along Route 25 and Route 31.

Earlier in the morning, a scanner report said there was some serious street flooding on Fabyan Parkway out by Hughes Road. The sun is out at around 11:45 a.m., and the signs of flooding are few.

Here are some photos of scenes along the river, including a giant-economy-sized frog that ventured onto the bike path to—what, get out of the water?
