Miscellaneous Mischief: More Spray Painting in Pepper Valley, Trespassing at GHS

Criminal damage to property and trespassing among this crimes and misdemeanors in last week's police reports.

There was a spray-paint redux, or at least a new discovery, after previous reports of pre-Halloween mischief. And the unexplained but curious report of a Batavian paying a 3 a.m. visit to .

Criminal Damage to Property—Geneva police investigating a uncovered additional criminal damage to property in the Pepper Valley neighborhood. A resident of the 2100 block of Hartford Lane told police that someone spray painted the back of a storage shed sometime between 7 p.m. Oct. 25 and 7:30 a.m. Oct. 26. The damage consisted of “SGD” spray painted in black on a shed in the back yard, near a bike path. Damage was estimated at $100.

Criminal Trespass to State Supported Land—Geneva police cited Richard Smith, 19, of Batavia for trespassing around 3:08 p.m. Oct. 24 at Geneva High School, 416 McKinley Ave., reports said.
