Miscellaneous Mischief: 'KARMA' Scratched in Honda, 'Meow!' Spray Painted, Plus 'Loud, Annoying Noise'

Karma or kismet? Or just more miscellaneous mischief? Here are some minor items collected this week from Geneva police reports.

There was criminal damage Karma and a cacophony of disorderly conduct found this week in Geneva police reports. 

Criminal Damage to Property—Someone scratched the word "KARMA" several times in the white paint of a Honda Accord sometime prior to 10 a.m. Nov. 6, reports said. Police reported to the 700 block of Illinois Street for a “keep the peace” request and discovered the criminal damage to property. The victim said she evicted from the residence by her landlord at 12:01 a.m. Nov. 6. She left her 2003 Honda Accord in the driveway, and discovered the damage when she returned to remove her belongings.

Vandalism—Someone spray painted the concrete floor of the pavilion at Don Forni Park, 3338 Border Drive, sometime prior to 9:04 p.m. Nov. 5, reports said. The images were of a cat with the word “meow!” a smiley face and a number sign.

Disorderly Conduct—Geneva police cited Donald Kein, 50, of Geneva with disorderly conduct and a citation for making “loud annoying noise” around 2:32 a.m. Nov. 3 in the 200 block of Ford Street, reports said. Both citations carry a $50 fine if paid by the notice date.
