Miscellaneous Mischief: Burglary at Geneva Pool, Bike Disappears, Patio Chairs Taken
Two thefts and a burglary, one from the snack shop at Sunset Pool
We assume they're different thieves and burglars who had an urge for PixieStix, patio furniture and a boy's bicycle, but who knows? Perhaps, the Shadow.
Burglary—Someone apparently entered the front window of Suzie’s Snack Shack at the Geneva pool, 710 Western Ave., between 8 p.m. Aug. 4 and noon Aug. 5 and stole water, Gatorade and PixieStix with a total value of $47.
Theft Under $500—Someone took two white metal “Winston” patio chairs with white-and-green-striped cushions from the backyard deck of a home in the 500 block of North Cambridge Drive sometime prior to 2 p.m. Aug. 5, reports said. The chairs were valued at $100 each.
