Man's Arm Caught in Machinery in St. Charles Business

According to a dispatch report, the accident takes place at 406 S. 38th Ave. in St. Charles, the address of Microplastics Inc.

Unconfirmed reports indicate that a man's arm was "trapped in machinery" shortly after 9 a.m. Tuesday, requiring a helicopter to take him from the scene.

According to a dispatch report, the accident took place at 406 S. 38th Ave. in St. Charles. Tri-Com scanner reports indicated that the man's arm was bleeding heavily.

An Internet search indicates that 406 S. 38th Ave. is the address of Microplastics Inc., which does prototype and production and associated assembly, including potting application, welding and soldering for various automotive parts.

The facility is 50,000 square feet and was founded in 1989, according to automotiveoem.com/Microplastics-Inc.
