Injuries Reported in Nov. 14 Accident on Fabyan Near Kirk

A 24-year-old Batavia woman is taken to Delnor Hospital after the Nov. 14 crash.

One person was hospitalized after a collision around 5:30 p.m. Nov. 14 in the 1400 block of East Fabyan Parkway, about 200 feet east of Kirk Road, Geneva police reports said.

The rear passenger side of a Chevrolet Spark driven by Jacqueline Shramovich, 24, of Batavia collided with the front of a Honda Fit driven by Paull Ulin, 55, of West Chicago, causing more than $1,500 damage to any one vehicle and sending Shramovich to Delnor Hospital by Batavia medics.

According to reports, Shramovich’s Spark was attempting a left from East Fabyan Parkway onto a private drive and the inside lane of traffic stopped to allow her to turn. Ulin’s Fit was traveling west in the inside lane when he noticed traffic ahead of him coming to a stop, so he switched to the outside lane, proceeded west and struck the Spark.
